Bear-Paw is primarily supported by member contributions and fundraising events. We currently have 300 members and more than 500 people who have given to Bear-Paw at one time or another. Our contributors are primarily from the geographic area that we serve; however, we have members throughout the United States.
We raise private contributions to support our programs and the transaction and acquisition costs associated with our land protection projects are often funded through grants and community funding.
Each year we hold educational workshops and fieldtrips and we distribute our biannual newsletter to over 1,700 members, landowners, and others interested in our work.
