What is Bear-Paw membership?
Bear-Paw's members are our donors & supporters; everyone who donates receives a membership for that calendar year. Whether you give $5,000 or $50, your donation makes you a Bear-Paw member, and we appreciate your generosity.

Why is membership important?
Your membership is what allows Bear-Paw to function. Membership donations fund work on land conservation projects, the perpetual stewardship of conserved land, and outreach & education aimed at connecting our community with nature. Without you, we wouldn't be able to carry out our critical work of conserving our region's water, wildlife, forests, and farms.

​Non-Membership Donations

Can members make additional donations?
Absolutely! Your generous donations allow us to grow and do more of our important work.

Besides membership, what can donations be made towards?
​Your donation can be made unspecified, to be used wherever it is most needed, or it can be directed towards a specific land protection project or fund.
Project Support
​Donations made towards land protection projects go directly to the conservation project you choose, or you can make a donation towards unspecified future projects. If you would like to help fund a land protection project, please let us know by emailing us at info@bear-paw.org.
Stewardship Fund
​Bear-Paw's Stewardship Fund helps pay for the "in perpetuity" portion of our commitment to conservation: taking care of the land, facilitating public access, and ensuring that the easement terms are upheld.
Endowment Fund
Bear-Paw's Endowment Fund helps protect our future by providing a stable, reliable future income and allowing land conservation work to continue.
