Your membership is what allows Bear-Paw to function. Membership donations fund work on land conservation projects, the perpetual stewardship of conserved land, and outreach & education aimed at connecting our community with nature
Gifts of Retirement
You can direct the custodian of your IRA account to contribute to Bear-Paw as a "Qualified Charitable Contribution," allowing 100% of the funds to go directly to local conservation, and you won't have to declare them as taxable income
Gift of Securities
If you own appreciated securities, that stock can be donated directly to Bear-Paw. You will receive a charitable deduction for the average value of the stock on the day it is transferred, and you will avoid paying any capital gains tax
In Memoriam
You can choose Bear-Paw to be a recipient of memorial gifts for your loved one. These contributions will be put towards upholding their vision to conserve special places so future generations can form a deep connection to nature too
